DEED
An acronym for Debating, Elocution, Extempore and Dance/Drama, this programme aims at bringing out and polishing the hidden talent of each student. The school has incorporated a one-hour slot per week in their regular curriculum during which the entire 6 and 7 grades perform the activity assigned to them a week before. If the activity, such as JAM or Word building or Story building, requires no preparation, the students are given the topics at the venue itself.
Some of the activities covered under the DEED programme are:
- Folk dance
- Nukkad Natak
- Spelling Bee
- Quad Speak
- JAM
- Best from Waste.
A typical school calendar is filled with activities and events; foremost among these is the ‘Founder’s Day’ celebrated every year on the 18th of July. This is our opportunity to celebrate the establishment of the School by acknowledging and awarding our outstanding achievers.
In addition there are form evenings for middle and senior school to showcase the talent of our students in the performing arts.
