After 6 months of stay backs, practice, and hard work, the Balwadi assembly organised by IB1 finally took place. This assembly is a tradition in IB in TSRS, and every batch has held one, each with their own unique theme. This year’s theme was hopes and aspirations. We helped all the children to envision what they would like to be in the future, and presented that in the form of a skit, with the children acting out various professions such as soldiers, doctors, teachers, and more.
Helping the children learn to act, sing and dance, really brought out a compassionate side in everyone and teaching the children about these creative skills was very fulfilling. Having the assembly, the culmination of all our efforts, presented successfully to the entire school was a wonderful experience. We can’t wait to see what the next batch does for their Balwadi assembly!
