The Silver Surfer Programme 2017 commenced on the 25th of November 2017. It is an attempt to bring the benefits of technology to the grandparents of the Shri community.
The student volunteers of IB-1 have set the pace for each of the 5 modules that are lined up for the weekends leading up till Christmas. The enthusiasm shown by the grandparents have further motivated the young students of IB -1. They have shown a great deal of commitment towards the successful implementation of the programme and these youngsters are determined to bring grandparents closer to their loved ones through emails and social and entertainment media. This is definitely an honest endeavour to bring fun, joy and independence in our grandparents. Our precious Silver Surfers are all poised to go tech savvy and call for cabs, order in food, send emails, follow google maps, watch movies and get adventurous within the world of apps to download and surf !!
