Based on the Creativity strand from the CAS portfolio, this workshop, conducted on 11th August by Ms Akriti Chawla, focused on simple life skills that often come handy in more than one ways.
In sync with the TSRS philosophy of sensitivity to the environment, this workshop had a threefold purpose. It aimed at to do away with plastic bags, reuse waste paper (old newspapers, chart papers, wrapping sheets, old drawing files) and inculcate the basic life skill of creating at home rather than buying from outside
In today’s world where presentation is the key, the workshop was not just relevant but was a stress buster for teachers and students alike. The immense sense of satisfaction that comes from creating something beautiful out of waste cannot be described in words – it can only be experienced.
