As part of the CAS programme, we at TSRS, Moulsari had planned an activity session with BootCamp YELLOW- an outdoor fitness-training group that achieves fitness through structured training and sustainable nutrition. The students were excited and what better way to kick off their CAS programme than an action filled session.
The students of IB1 had a two hours intense workout session from 8:30am on a Wednesday morning. The students were buzzing with anticipation as they assembled on our football ground in proper workout gear. They started with on ground – low intensity workouts like squats and push-ups and then they were shown how to give extra attention on body weight movement patterns and body mechanics before challenging the body. By the end of it the students said they could feel the difference in their bodies, every inch of their bodies felt challenged, even with just one session! The workshop really inspired a lot of our IB1 student to take physical activities more seriously not just in the form of fat reduction but also posture correction and stamina building. The time spent with BootCamp YELLOW gave our students a glimpse in to how one can start transforming their lifestyle into an active and healthy way of life.
